It will be an exciting summer for students ages 14-21 participating in ILC's Summer Transition Program! We will be using curriculum from the James Stanfield Company that includes discussion, videos, and role-playing of real-life situations such as living with someone else, good manners, and other skills needed for transition into adulthood.
The Summer Transition Program is unique because it is reality based and is conducted in the community as well as the classroom. Students will be learning about employment, independent living, community participation, adult services and post-secondary education.
We will be accepting student applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. Please have your application in by May 1st of the application year. We’re asking those interested in attending to please send a completed application with a non-refundable application fee of $20.00 and a letter of recommendation. Applications can be found in the application section of our website, see link below.
